Big announcement

I am very excited to make a big announcement to my family, friends, followers and clients. Tianna Gries Photography will be moving locations, we will be 100% moved in by Friday April 15th. Our new location will be 1566 West Mason Street, this is the farthest south suite in the Beacon Center right behind Starbucks on the corner of Mason and Military. We loved where we were at and think it was a great start to our business and am sad to leave what felt like home. The fact of the matter is that we outgrew our old location on Packerland Drive. With the new props that we have acquired over the past couple years and the new equipment, I felt that my customers started to feel cramped in such a cute cozy studio. I believe that when my customers come for their appointment, they are not just coming for the actual photos being taken. They are also coming to capture a special moment in their lives. Be it a new Mom and Dad getting Newborn photos of their precious little baby or someone's senior pictures to celebrate a huge milestone in that young adult’s life. I want my customers to feel like family, relaxed and at home. With some of the extra room we are setting aside a small portion of it just for comfort, this will include a coffee maker, more seating and a small fridge stocked with drinks for the children and for the adults such as wine and by request from my amazing and super supportive husband some beer. He won that discussion because like I said I want my clients to feel comfortable and at home. Although I am super excited about a lot of things that come with our new location such as it is over double the size, taller ceilings and beautiful massive windows that allows natural light in, just adding to our options to add creativity to some of our sessions. However I have to admit that I am mostly excited to share that our new location will include a children's play area. Depending on what type of appointment is booked it can take a matter of a quick 60 minutes or can last up to a couple of hours. I am excited that those not being photographed at that exact moment will be able to step into the other room to play with some toys or even watch the game if it's on. Once we are settled in we will announce our big Grand Opening welcoming in potentially new and of course our existing clients. I would like to thank everyone for believing in me and give something back for aiding in my success. Without you none of this would be possible.

Welcome to Tianna Gries Photography first blog post. My hopes are to keep my followers informed of my new props, new ideas, specials and even talk about photography so that they can have a better understanding of what goes on behind the scenes so they can help make their session their own. I look forward to sharing all my thoughts and visions for our future together. Also in the next couple of days be prepared for a huge announcement that I can’t barely keep a secret much longer.
